givin' up....

Giving up.. ought to be one of the most difficult lessons to learn... giving up not on what you believed in or strived towards... but giving up on the probable outcome of the effort put in...
since its so difficult to practice... the rewards are equally brilliant... like if you give up on the result and pursue the activity just for the pure pleasure of play... it can sometimes be more rewarding than the plan intentioned.
he experienced it... when he did euphoria... he experienced it also when sittin there after 2yrs of prep the math section looked to be printed in greek.. ofcourse one outcome was positive and one of them otherwise.. but then.. like the wise men say.. after putting in your honest best efforts there is very little you can do.. except hope for the best.. and that is why it becomes so important to let go... give up and not hope or wish or pray that things work out your way.. cos they will only work out the way they have to.. but by not expecting you rid yourself of the pressure the expectation and thus the disappointment.
here's to giving up on a few more things in life.. so what if the investment was another yr of my life!

Giving up on the one you loved
Letting go-of your past
Having expectations, yet no expectations...

...are things I have dreamed of, n consider the most difficult to achieve. Until the day I can give up and feel-Ive not given up a thing!

it becomes easier to give up when you can write more stuff in your life off to yr destiny.. when you can relinquish control and stop playing the master of yr script. all of which is very difficult for our generation at this age. and thus we carry this weight with us.

How can you live believing that your mind, heart, actions, your life- is not in our control. I am not a puppet, as much as destiny pulls its strings,I think my reaction comes from me.

Yes maybe it is easy to give up, if i put everything down to fate.Let external forces make their marks but let me write my own script

yes boongat kid.. all ideas begin somewhere...

the change management you study today was first used by alexander when he captured persia and was expanding.. so well most great minds think a lot.. such is life.. and sometimes the rest of us also stumble upon this knowledge..

hmm.. ms. jagtiani realistically speaking there are so many variables that control us.. despite our wishes that it'd be fool-hardy to believe we can really call all the shots.. no-doubt we put in our actions and do good deeds expecting and anticipating positive outcomes for the same.. and.. every action surely has a sizeable impact on our lives.. yet... there is so much else that determines the outcome of our actions that no-one could realistically believe they can control their lives.

you can't predict nature, you can't control whether you live or you die, you can't control the behaviour of those around you.. .and very very often even the machines we design tend to not adhere to our wishes.. how much more of an allusion could control be now?
